The first and overall 333rd board meeting of Evacuee Trust Property Board for year 2021 was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Amir Ahmed. Apart from private persons, and representatives of Sikh and Hindu communities, Deputy Secretary (Admin) Rashna Fawad, Deputy Secretary (Property) Munir Ahmed, Controller Accounts Adeel Ahmed and other officers also present attended the meeting. A 15 points agenda was laid before the members in which most of the items were approved while some agenda items were postponed. Expanding the scope of Gore Vanak Devji Scholarship, it was approved to provide vocational education to Hindu and Sikh children at government expense. The participants were informed that Hindu and Sikh children who want to pursuing education after FA will be provided higher education under Baba Guru Nanak Scholarships.
On the other hand, Dr. Amir Ahmed also presided over the meeting of Zonal Administrators from across the country through video link. The ETPB chairman directed to take all possible steps to obtain the targets. He also commended performance of Zonal Office Lahore and Islamabad Trust Complex in terms of recovery.
