Says narrative of rejected elements fully rejected by people

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Thursday directed the provincial price control committee to ensure effective implementation of the price control mechanism in the province to provide necessary relief to the common man.
“Those creating artificial price-hike do not deserve any leniency and no one will be allowed to make a dacoity on the pockets of the people.”
The CM directed the administration to ensure quality control as well as strict monitoring of prices of essential items in markets.
Usman Buzdar further directed the administration to continue indiscriminate action against hoarders and profiteers.
Action should be initiated against those selling items at exorbitant rates; he added and repeated to ensure the availability of daily use items according to fixed rates.
The government will go to any extent to maintain effective price control and every step will be taken in this regard, the CM declared.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that levelling baseless allegations is the favourite modus operandi of opposition, adding that the narrative of the rejected elements has been fully rejected by the people.
He advised the elements, engaged in impeding the development journey, to realize facts. Regrettably, the opposition parties used the power and authority for increasing personal bank balances in their respective tenures than to serve the masses, he added.
The PDM has no strategy for the country and the people are also fully aware of their true character, the CM stated. The PDM has ended in a fiasco and anarchists have also been fully exposed, he further said.
PDM is only interested in protecting personal interest but the people will not allow anybody to interrupt the development journey, concluded the CM.
Meanwhile, CM Usman Buzdar directed strict legal action against an arrested accused Sanaullah involved in rape-cum-murdering his 13-year-old cousin Ahmed. The CM also directed to make every effort to provide justice to the heirs.
The Mianwali police traced the murder incident in the precinct of PS Harnoli over a notice of the chief minister while the accused has also confessed to the crime.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar paid homage to seven security personnel who embraced martyrdom during an operation against terrorists in South Waziristan. He extended heartfelt sympathies to the families of the martyred security personnel.
CM Usman Buzdar said that security forces foiled terrorists’ nefarious designs by risking their lives.
Usman Buzdar said that martyrs are the real heroes of the nation as they sacrificed their lives for the peace of the country.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that democracy is the guarantor of equal human rights and it’s a must for equality in any society.
The Punjab CM, in his message on World Democracy Day, said that democracy makes people partners in power and continuity of democracy is essential for socio-economic evolution.
He added that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is committed to strengthening democratic values and institutions.
Usman Buzdar said that India is a so-called democracy but it is the biggest enemy of democratic values as government of PM Modi has destroyed democratic processes in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Punjab CM further said that instead of giving democratic rights to the Kashmiri people, Modi government is inflicting inhumane atrocities on them.
He urged the international community to take immediate notice of India’s undemocratic actions.
