Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar presided over the meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet on Thursday.
The Economic Coordination Committee has approved technical supplementary grants worth over 912 million rupees.
The Committee approved technical supplementary grant worth 284.5 million rupees in favour of Ministry of Interior for disbursement of amount as financial assistance to the Shuhada and injured persons of terrorism incident occurred in Peshawar on 31st January this year.
It also approved 67 million rupees in favor of Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination.
The Committee approved another supplementary grant worth 61 million rupees in favor of Ministry of Law and Justice for Federal Shariah Court to meet the shortfall being faced by it during current Financial Year.
A supplementary grant of 500 million rupees was approved in favour of Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety for Benazir Income Support Program Nashonuma project.
The ECC gave approval to extension in renewal of Bhal Syedan Development and Production Lease covering an area of 16.41 square kilometers located in District Attock, Punjab.
The grant of five years renewal to Pariwali Development and Production Lease field covering an area of 121.95 Square Kilometers located in district Attock, Punjab also got approval by the committee.
Further, the committee approved grant of five years renewal over Minwal Development and Production Lease, covering an area of 18.85 square kilometers located in district Chakwal, Punjab.
Federal Minister for Power Mr. Khurram Dastgir Khan, Federal Minister Commerce Syed Naveed Qamar, Federal Minister for Climate Change Senator Ms. Sherry Rehman, Minister of State for Finance and Revenue Dr. Aisha Ghous Pasha, SAPM on Finance Mr. Tariq Bajwa, SAPM on Revenue Mr. Tariq Mehmood Pasha, SAPM on Govt Effectiveness Mr. Mohammad Jehanzed Khan, Coordinator to the PM on Economy Mr. Bilal Azhar Kayani, Federal Secretaries and other senior officers attended the meeting.
