Dry weather to persist in most areas of country

Pakistan Metrological department on Tuesday forecast that weather will remain hot and dry in most parts of the country.

According to met office report, weather will remain dry in Islamabad during day. However, in the evening or night, the sky will be overcast and rain is expected with thunderstorm and strong wind.

Most areas of Punjab will remain in the grip of heat and dry conditions will persist. The south districts of the province will face extreme heat wave.

However, rain is expected to lash Potohar, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sargodha, Sialkot, Naorowal and Lahore with thunderstorm and strong winds. Faisalabad, Multan, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Layya, Rahim Yar Khan and Dera Ghazi Khan are also expected to receive rain.

According to weather report, hot and dry conditions will persist in most areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.—APP
