Armed men shot injured divisional education officer here on Monday. A passer by was also injured in the firing. According to details, two armed men sprayed bullets at Divisional Director Education Nasirabad, Abdul Nabbi Magsi while he on his way to office in Dera Murad Jamali.
As a result of firing, the education officer Abdul Nabbi Magsi and a passer by Jani Harra were injured.
The attackers fled the scene of crime. The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Dera Murad Jamali where Divisional Education Officer was referred to Larkana.
Balochistan Education Minister Mir Abdul Ghafoor Lehri, President Government Teachers Education (Constitutional) Attaullah Sasoli, tribal elders, social and political activists visited the hospital to inquire after the health of the injured divisional education officer. A case was also registered against the assailants and investigation was kicked off.—INP
