Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the provincial government has launched development projects of 22 million rupees for uplift of Toba Tek Singh.
He stated this while talking to federal and provincial ministers and assembly members who called on him in Kamalia on Saturday and apprised him about ongoing development projects of Kamalia and Toba Tek Singh.
Usman Buzdar said that under the annual development programme 407 ongoing and other new development projects in district Toba Tek Singh will cost Rs.5 billion. Similarly, 1.3 billion rupees will be spent on 171 projects of community development. Moreover, under sustainable development projects 474 development schemes would be completed at a cost of 89 crore rupees. Rs. 50 crore will be spent for the construction and expansion of the roads for the easy access from fields to market.
The chief minister said new projects of 4 billion rupees are being launched in Toba Tek Singh under district development programme. People of district Toba Tek Singh to get free of cost treatment facilities up to 10 lakh rupees from public and private hospitals through sehat card. Solving the problems of every city of the province including Kamalia and District Toba Tek Singh is our core responsibility, he added.
Farrukh Habib, Riaz Fityana, Ashifa Riaz, Hashim Jawan Bakht, Hafiz Mumtaz Ahmad, Nasrullah Dreshak and others including Chief Secretary Punjab, IG Punjab, Commissioner Faisalabad, RPO, DC Toba Tek Singh and other concerned authorities were also present on the occasion.
