Danny expressed gratitude to Abdul Basit as he called him the most sincere , genuine person he ever met in his life. The post further said “He [Basit] told me Allah bought me there & I really felt i was on a spiritual journey to find the real meaning of life.
The two then visited Mecca, and performed the religious pilgrimage in Islam known as ‘Umrah’ and said the spiritual journey changed his life forever!
He ended the social media post, saying he returned to London as a newly-born Muslim!
