All-out measures have been taken to protect prisoners from Coronavirus and SOPs are being followed to check spread of Covid-19 in District Jail Sheikhupura.
District Jail Superintendent Malik Mudassar stated while talking to the Pakistan Observer district correspondent on Tuesday.
He said that prisoners are being served with best food and other facilities.
To a question, the jail superintendent said that there is no compromise on the health of inmates, and they are being provided with best health facilities without any discrimination. Mr Mudassar said that children and women are being treated with extra-ordinary care.
He informed that all possible resources are being utilized at the district jail to transform the culprits into useful citizens of the society.
The superintendent also said that the jail administration has been striving hard to provide formal education to the uneducated women and children.
