Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar said on Saturday that the coronavirus pandemic has rendered 12 million people jobless across Pakistan.
While addressing media in Multan, the Punjab governor lamented that the people are not taking the pandemic issue seriously. “Bad times are around the corner,” he warned.
Sarwar said that if the Standard Operating Procedures were not followed by people then the government will have no choice but to take ‘hard decisions’ regarding mosques.
He said that in case of more patients, the hostels of universities will be turned into quarantine facilities.
