Comsats university, WSSCA to work together to solve municipal issues: Amir Zaki

Chief Executive Officer Water and Sanitation Services Company Abbottabad (WSSCA) Amir Zaki Monday paid a visit to COMSATS University Abbottabad Campus and met Director Comcast Dr. Imtiaz Ali Khan, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Irshad, Chairman, Department of Environmental Sciences and other faculty members.

According to details, during the meeting, the representatives of the organizations gave a detailed briefing on the performance, efficiency and future plans of their respective bodies. Speaking on the occasion, CEO Amir Zaki said that Comsats University has the best experts in the Department of Environmental and Geography, with their help the problems of municipal services of the citizens of Abbottabad can be solved in modern ways.

He said that WSSCA has the capability to keep the city clean while COMSATS has the expertise so we should work together for the betterment of the people. Director Comsats Dr. Imtiaz Ali Khan said that the students of the university have completed research on Solid Waste Management, Water Supply System, Water Supply Distribution System, Sewerage System, etc. which can be beneficial for WSSCA.

He said that the university would extend full cooperation to WSSCA for which the two institutions would work together through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
