Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, while directing the WASA administration and concerned department to remain alert during heavy rain has said that all-out resources should be utilized for drainage of water and officers of WASA and concerned authorizes should remain present in the field. He said that drainage of rainy water should be ensured as soon as possible and all the machinery and necessary resources should be utilized for the early completion of water drainage work.
He said that traffic the system should not be affected due to heavy rain and authorities should adopt comprehensive strategy for the smooth traffic flow. Chief Minister said that citizens should not face any difficulty and a report of the implementation of all above measures should be submitted to the chief minister office.
