Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Society appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan to take Suo moto action on the brutal murder of ex-servicemen in a fake encounter by the police. Speaking to the media persons here the other day, District President PESS said Chua Saiden Shah police, on midnight 4/5 May broke in the house of Naik Arshad, and ex-SSG Commando in village Dalailpur without any search or arrest warrant and viciously shot him dead in front of his wife and small kids.
The District Police Officer Chakwal instead of registering a case against the despicable police personnel involved the cold-blooded murder declared the incident as ‘police encounter’ to save his subordinates from punishment. Local PESS leaders contacted police for registration of FIR but their request was not given any response. Being disappointed the widow of the deceased ex-soldier filed a petition in the court of District and Sessions Judge Chakwal for ordering the concerned police to register the case.
