Catholic Diocese holds peace conference

Catholic Diocese of Faisalabad organized a peace conference in the context of the Jaranwala tragedy and the war between Palestine and Israel. Various scholars of thought, civil society, NGOs, scholars, lawyers, and political and social personalities participated in the peace conference.
The purpose of the event was to end the unrest spread across the country and the world. Former Provincial Minister of Health and Human Rights of Punjab Khalil Tahir Sindhu said that we should stay together to promote peace in the region.

He demanded that pressure be put up to stop the violations of human rights in Palestine, where hundreds of people were dying on a daily basis, while Father Khalid Rashid Asi, talking about the victims of the Jaranwala tragedy, said that the local administration there has helped the helpless people a lot. While talking about the war between Palestine and Israel, he said that both countries need to work to restore peace until they lay down thier arms, until then there will be no peace.
