Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said on Saturday that opposition parties are doing politics even in this crucial time, when the country is facing coronavirus outbreak.
“Opposition has done nothing rather than raising false claims”, CM Usman Buzdar said in his statement.
He said the PTI government is helping the masses practically, who are passing through worst time due to outbreak of the pandemic.
Referring to the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme, the chief minister said, the programme was initiated with an aim to support the needy families and termed it as transparent programme ever in the history of country.
He said the government is fully aware about the problems of the masses and serving the people in every best possible manner it could. Usman Buzdar said that keeping in view the virus situation, they have decided against setting up Ramadan Bazaars in the province and cash would be transferred among needy families under the CM Ramadan Package.
He said that the whole world, including Pakistan, is facing extraordinary circumstances due to the Covid-19.
He said that due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Punjab government has also taken some bold step to deal with this situation.
The entire PTI leadership is standing beside the people in these hard times and aware of their difficulties. He disclosed that the Punjab government has decided not to hold Ramadan Bazaar in the holy month of Ramadan.
He further stated that under the Ramadan package, financial assistance will be provided to the deserving families on the pattern of Chief Minister Insaaf Imdaad Programme. Only those get success in life and hereafter who serve the ailing humanity, he concluded.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, in a letter written to provincial ministers, advisors, special assistants and assembly members, has said that country is passing through a critical phase because of coronavirus.
He said that the people of Punjab are also affecting from this outbreak. He expressed hope that they will utilize all their efforts to deal with the current unusual situation.
He said that Punjab government has taken effective measures to prevent from coronavirus and we are confident that government will soon be able to overcome this disease.
On the instruction of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and in order to prevent coronavirus pandemic, a video-link meeting of cabinet committee was held at Chief Minister Office.
The meeting reviewed the treatment facilities being provided to corona affected patients and the measures taken by the government for extending lockdown in the province.
Buzdar has said that Punjab government has decided not to establish Ramazan bazaars in Ramazan. He said that keeping in view current situation, Punjab has also taken concrete steps to deal with it.
He said that under dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, PM Ehsaas Kifalat Programme is helping and providing relief to poor people.
