A meeting on promotion of religious tourism was held here which was chaired by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Sayed Zulfiqar Abbass Bukhari.
Additional Secretary Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Ahmed Hanif Aurakzai, Chairman ETPB Dr Aamer Ahmed and Managing Director Tourism Intikhab Alam attended the meeting.
Bukhari was briefed on the immense potential in the field of religious tourism in the country. The chair briefed the participants about the government vision and passed necessary directions to chalk out a target oriented plan, site selection, impediments and its solution to promote religious tourism in the country.
