ISLAMABAD – An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday granted a three-day physical remand to 19 suspects involved in Islamabad protest at D-Chowk.
Judge Abulhasnat Zulqarnain passed the order after the police produced them before the court.
During the proceedings, Prosecutor Raja Naveed stated in court that a case has been registered against the suspects at the Secretariat Police Station. A total of 11 days of physical remand have already been obtained, during which several revelations have come to light.
The prosecutor said that based on the suspects’ revelations, the raids are being conducted for further arrests.
He said that the recoveries need to be made from the suspects. He told the court that the suspects should be handed over to the police on 20-day physical remand.
After hearing the arguments, the court handed the suspects over to the police on a three-day physical remand.
