ISLAMABAD – PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar said that a list of 200 missing persons from D-Chowk has been prepared, and this report would be provided to party founder Imran Khan.
Speaking to media representatives outside Adiala Jail, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar said that during the D-Chowk protest, the PTI had compiled a list of 200 missing persons, and the PTI is working on this matter. This issue, he said, would be raised on every forum, and the report would be given to the founder of PTI.
He further stated that PTI’s agreement on the registration of religious seminaries in 2019 was correct, and the party still stands by this agreement. Seminaries should be registered, and children in these institutions should also be taught modern education.
Barrister Gohar also mentioned that Faisal Vawda frequently makes such statements, but he does not respond to them. Everyone should focus on efforts for the release of the founder of PTI. The life of the founder of PTI is important to them.
When a journalist asked about the relatively low loss of life during the D-Chowk protest, and the spread of lies, Barrister Gohar responded that the figures had been mentioned in different ways – first it was 8, then it became 12.
In response to a question about differences with Aleema Khan regarding the number of deaths during the protest, he said, “I give responsible statements keeping the party’s stance in mind, and I issue these statements after complete consultation with the core committee and other leadership,”.
