Staff Reporter The ninth death anniversary of Pakistan’s youngest Microsoft Certified Professional, Arfa Karim Randhawa was observed across the country on Thursday. Born on February 2, 1995, Arfa Karim became the youngest Microsoft Certified Professional at the age of nine. In 2005, she became the recipient of Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal. in the field of Science and Technology besides getting Salaam Pakistan Youth Award. She was also invited by tech giant Bill Gates to visit Microsoft Headquarters in the United States (US). She passed away on January 14, 2012 in Lahore following an epileptic attack at the age of 16. The Arfa Software Technology Park, a science park in Lahore, was named after her.
