LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz rolled out ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ housing scheme to provide affordable housing with easy installment plans.
The inauguration ceremony occurred in provincial capital Lahore where Chief Minister mentioned value of having own home, saying those who have their own home cannot understand the state of being without own accommodation.

The government of Punjab is offering interest-free loans of up to Rs15lac, and the amount will be paid in easy installments over period of seven years.
These housing loans will be available for construction of houses on plots of up to five marlas in urban areas and up to ten marlas in rural areas, CM Marym said.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz set housing scheme installments at Rs14,000 to accommodate monthly expenses like education, utilities, food, and medicine.
