Vows to expose elements behind such tactics
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice President Dr. Shireen Mazari has claimed that a domestic staff found a listening device attached to a coffee table in her bedroom in a bugging attempt.
Addressing a press conference along with PTI senior leader Shibli Faraz here on Tuesday, Dr.Shireen Mazari said that a similar device was recovered from Imran Khan’s house a few days ago, now a suspicious device has also been found in her house.
PTI leader that she was at Bani Gala when her personal secretary called her that a device had fallen out from under a coffee table in her bedroom after a domestic worker accidentally bumped into it.
Mazari added that she initially thought it was a USB; however, upon proper investigation, they found out that it was an American model voice recorder, which was planted in the house to spy on her in sheer violation of Article 14.1 of the Constitution and her rights of privacy.
She went on to say that what more do they want to achieve, as fake cases were lodged against them, besides tapping their mobile phones, adding that the law and the Constitution has been turned into a joke.
