Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan while commenting on the budget presented by the federal government said that the country’s economy was under a lot of pressure and difficulties in view of the coronavirus, but despite this, Prime Minister Imran Khan managed a people-friendly budget on the directives of which the fruits of this will reach the common man shortly.
In a statement on Friday, he said that the presentation of tax-free budget of Rs 76 trillion by the federal government in unfavourable conditions is a great achievement which is commendable. Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said that despite difficult circumstances the government presented the best budget and no new tax has been leveled.
He said that there could be no better budget proposal under global economic pressure but I wish the opposition would also review the budget in a non-political manner instead of criticizing it. He further said that the federal economic team led by Prime Minister Imran Khan has adopted the right strategy and this budget will help to put the country on the right track.
“There is no doubt that the whole world is facing economic challenges, but we all have to face them head on”, he said.
