MUZAFARABAD – An Anti-Terrorism Court on Tuesday rejected the bail application of journalist and poet Ahmad Farhad.
The local court announced the verdict reserved earlier after hearing arguments of the both sides.
Farhad who went missing from his home in Islamabad was found in the custody of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani who was took up plea for his recovery is still hearing his case.
On the last hearing Justice Kayani had directed the relevant officials to produce justice Kayani before his court, observing that the case could be disposed of only then.
The officials representing the stats had informed the court that Ahmad Farhad was on the Foreign territory—a stance that grabbed attention of the Indian media.
The reports suggested that Ahmad Farhad was booked in terrorism cases in the AJK.
