Amidst confusion, Karachi Airport officials clarify that the runway (25L/07R) is not completely closed but undergoing routine maintenance during specific time slots. Rubber removal work will occur Monday to Friday until May 3rd, with the alternate runway (25R/07L) available for aircraft within designated weight limits.

The maintenance schedule follows Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) times, with Pakistan Standard Time (UTC+05:00) being five hours ahead.
