Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab claimed on Friday to have made historic recovery of 8 billion 61 crore and 50 Lacs in the month of November 2019.
ACE has issued the performance report of the month of November 2019 and according to the report out of this amount 5 crore 94 lac and 50 thousand are of direct recovery, 8 billion 49 crore 74 Lac and 50 thousand rupees have been recovered under the head of land recovery whereas 5 crore 81 Lacs have been recovered under the head of indirect recovery. According to report Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab received 1615 complaints in the month of September and it redressed 1627 grievances including previous complaints.
Similarly, Anti-Corruption Punjab holds 397 inquiries, gave decision of 413 ongoing inquiries, 112 cases were registered, decision was given on 109 ongoing cases, 97 challans were presented, 16 raids were conducted and 119 accused were arrested.
Anti-Corruption Punjab has also nabbed one court absconders and 16 proclaimed offenders in the month of November. DG Anti-Corruption Muhammad Gohar Nafees has directed all the officers to adopt zero tolerance policy against the corrupt elements and take action against them without any discrimination.
