ACE Punjab Director General Gohar Nafees has directed all the regional officers to pace the operation against land grabbers without any discrimination so that the dream of corruption-free Punjab may be realized.
On this direction, ACE Lahore A launched a grand operation with the help of district administration and police in Harbancepura against land grabbers. During this operation, ACE retrieved 25 kanal valued land situated in the most dangerous area Chundian, Harbanspura, worth Rs 4 billion. This area was famous for agitations and resistance.
In the last 20 years, no govt agency entered the area to vacate the govt land. During the operation, all agitators and supporters of qabza mafia have also been arrested by police. In the said operation, boundary wall of 4 illegally occupied plots was also demolished and 4 shops situated in Altaf Colony, Ismail Town near Pepsi factory were also been demolished.
In this respect, ACE Regional Director Ahmar Sohail Kaifi said that we are taking action against qabza mafia without any discrimination.
Anti-Corruption Lahore arrested ASI on the charges of bribe from a citizen. In an inquiry held in ACE Lahore A, all charges against the ASI Imtiaz were proved true and judicial action was approved and case no 40/2019 was registered against him in PS, ACE.
He took not only bribe but also took LCD TV and other household things from the complainant.
He was presently serving as ASI at Gari Shahu Police Station. ACE Lahore region team, after long chasing, arrested him. Ahmad Sohail Kaifi said that they have adopted zero tolerance policy against corrupt elements to make Pakistan corruption free country.
