AC directs anti-dengue spray drive in LalQila

The Assistant Commissioner (AC) of LalQila, Noorzali Khan, on Sunday directed the Tehsil Municipal Committee (TMC) to start an anti-dengue virus spray drive in order to protect the general public in the area.

According to the orders of the district administration, the AC gave the directives while inspecting the anti-dengue spray drive in LalQila government offices. He was accompanied by Tehsil Municipal Officer Inayatullah.

The AC said that the spray drive would be carried out in all parts of LalQila. He urged the public to take special care of cleanliness and not to allow water to stagnate. He also advised them to cover clean water wells to prevent the development of larvae of the dengue mosquito. The AC said that the district administration was taking all necessary measures to prevent the spread of dengue virus.—INP
