Governor Chaudhry Sarwar has congratulated Chief Minister Usman Bazdar on presenting a people-friendly tax-free budget. The governor and CM Buzdar met here on Saturday. They decided to make government measures more effective and agreed to continue working together for the development and prosperity of the province under the vision of the prime minister. They also discussed political and governmental affairs of Punjab as well as steps to be taken to counter corona and other issues.
The governor said that in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan the government was taking steps to provide relief to the people in every sector despite the corona crisis. The tax-free budgets of the federal and Punjab are a clear proof that the government is with the people and is pursuing a policy of making the country developed and prosperous. The CM said the people were fortunate to have an honest and sincere prime minister like Imran Khan who was taking practical steps to rid the country of crises like tax evasion and injustice as well as inflation and unemployment.
