Pakistan Wapda has won the 2nd CEO Pakistan Railways Inter Departmental weightlifting Gold Cup championship while Pakistan Railway grabs the Junior category title.
The championship was held at Railway Stadium Garhi Shahu Lahore. Pakistan Wapda Won the Trophy with 121 Points in Senior Competition. Pakistan Army got Second position and Pakistan Railways was third.
In the junior category Pakistan Railways Won the Trophy with 102 Points HEC Second and Pakistan Army was the third. At the end of the Competition Chief Guest General Manager Railway and President PRSB Shahid Azizi gave away winner trophies, shields and medals to winner and officials. Vice President PRSB Hamdan Nazir, Commissioner FBR Bahzad Anwar, Sports Officer PRSB Tariq Mehmood, Manager Railway Weightlifting Team Sheikh Muhammad Anwar, Accounts Officer Atta Hussain Butt, CEO Pakistan Weightlifting Federation Hafiz Imran Butt, Secretary General Amjad Amin Butt, Rashid Malik, Madam Nuzhat Jabeen, Chairman Pakistan Women Wing Weightlifting Federation Awais Akbar, Waqas Akbar, Syed Najam ul Saeed, Mir Arshad Pervaiz Butt, Hasnain Abid, Manzoor Ali Arif and large numebr of international and national weightlifters and a large number of spectators was also present on this occasion and appreciate the weightlifters.
