Federal departments spend Rs289b on development works from July to Oct

Federal ministries, divisions and departments have spent Rs289 billion on development works from July to October, according to the Ministry of Planning.
According to the document, Rs188.34 billion was released for federal ministries and divisions, NHA spent Rs53 billion for development works while NTDC and PEPCO received development fund of Rs23.3 billion.
The Ministry of Water Resources received a development fund of Rs43 billion. Development funds of Rs11.75 billion were released for Railway Division, Rs32 billion was released for development projects of the Ministry of Finance and Rs6 billion was released for national food security.
While Rs14 billion was released for higher education, Rs6.88 billion was released for national health regulation, Rs28 billion was released for development works of the cabinet division. On the other hand Rs13 billion was released for Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Rs11 billion was released for development works in Gilgit-Baltistan.
