Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Monday forecast mainly dry weather likely to prevail over most parts of the country during next 24 hours. While hot in plain areas during day time, however, light rain-thunderstorm expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
A shallow westerly wave was affecting upper parts of the country and likely to prevail during next 48 hours, a MET office reported. Rainfall (mm): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Chitral, Drosh 02 and Kalam 01. Maximum temperature’s recorded (°C): Sh. Benazirabad 43°C, Lasbella 41°C Chhor, Sakrand, Hyderabad and Mithi 40 °C.
The local Met office has forecast dry weather for city and its suburbs during the next 24 hours. On Monday, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 36.0 degree centigrade and 21.3 degree centigrade respectively. The humidity was recorded 64 per cent at 8 am and 25 per cent at 5 pm. The sun will rise at 06:13 am and set at 17:48 pm tomorrow.—APP
