According to the survey conducted by the central bank between March 24 to April 11, 2022, a total of 9,777 responses were received with participation from 116 countries. About 70 per cent of participation was recorded from the GCC countries.

The survey concluded that 71 per cent of the respondents were satisfied with various aspects of making investments via the RDA.

The most popular products among the participants were Roshan ApniCar (RAC) and Roshan ApnaGhar(RApG). The Roshan ApniCar service “enables Non-Resident Pakistanis to buy cars of their choice for their loves in Pakistan at attractive rates”. In the same way, the Roshan ApnaGhar service enables “NRPs to buy, build or renovate their homes in Pakistan”.

The “emigration status” of the respondents shows that a staggering 69 per cent were on work-visa, while 23 per cent of permanent residents responded to the survey.

The State Bank of Pakistan thanked the overseas Pakistani for their continued support and vowed to remain committed to improving the product based on their valuable feedback.
