Assistant Commissioner Sadar Shahzad Mahboob raided wheat stockists and confiscated 27000 kilograms wheat from two godowns.
The district administration teams were conducting crackdown against stockists under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Aamer Khattak.
AC sadar Shahzad Mahboob raided at Mouza Athangal and seized 15000 kilograms wheat stock. Another raid was conducted at a rice mill Qadirpur Raan and seized 12000 kgs wheat and 2700 bags of rice.
The wheat was handed over to food department while Rs 50000 fine was imposed to rice mill over not declaring complete rice stock. Assistant Food Controller Muzamil Ahmed was also present.
