The second round of Sindh Open Golf Championship 2022 was played on Saturday at Airmen Golf Club. Defending champion Shabbir Iqbal maintained lead on second day with five under par. He started day two with six under par.
Muhammad Naeem of PGC, Zubair Hussain of PAF and Wisal Khan of PGC are following Shabbir with joint score of 145 one over par.LGG’s Muhammad Shahzad with his two over par is at 5th while Matloob Ahmed of same LGG is at sixth with three over par. In the senior professional category Tahir Naseem maintained top position with four over par. Muhammad Akram achieved 2nd position with eight over par. Both are representing Lahore Gymkhana.
In the Junior Professionals, Muhammad Saqib from LGG has taken top position with seven over par, followed by Abdul Wadood from Multan and Nabeel Khan of Airmen Golf Club. Both have tied for 2nd position.Saim Shazli of KGC is leading in Amateurs category with Gross 157, 13 over par and being followed by Salman Jahangir of LG with Gross 158, 14 over par. Omar Khalid of DHA is holding third position.
