LAHORE – Pakistani payment system operator 1LINK is facing disruption and users cannot be able to withdraw cash from ATMs and online banking also remains affected.
Hundreds of 1LINK network users have been facing widespread issues as the outage led to ATM Transactions: Many ATM machines across the country are unable to process transactions, leaving customers unable to withdraw cash.
On the other hand, transfers between different banks are delayed or unable to be completed, impacting both personal and business transactions. Point-of-Sale (POS) Transactions: Retailers and businesses using card payment systems are facing difficulties, affecting sales and customer transactions.
1Link acknowledged the issue and said connectivity with some banks remain disrupted and that they are working to fix it. Meanwhile, the cause of the outage has not yet been fully explained.

Customers are using alternative payment methods where possible and to check for updates regarding the restoration of services.
In August, 1LINK issued a advisory, and turned down rumors circulating online and WhatsApp which warned that ATMs and online banking services were under cyberattack.
