Pakistan’s Muhammad Bashar secures fourth Place in Algeria’s International Quran Recitation Contest

KARACHI – A Pakistani boy from Swat, Pakistan, has made nation proud proud by securing fourth place in an international Quran recitation competition held in Algeria.

Muhammad Bashar’s success reflects strong cultural and spiritual bonds between Islamabad and Algiers. The young achiever took part in the “Mazamir Dawood” International Quran Recitation Competition in Algeria, which was organized by the private media channel “Echorouk.” The event, held from August 18 to 31, featured participants from over 15 countries. Muhammad Bashar achieved fourth place, winning a prize of $1,500.

The Echorouk channel hosts this annual competition to highlight the talents of young Quran reciters worldwide. Algerian Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments organizes the International Quran Recitation Competition each year under the patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

Pakistan’s ongoing participation in these events further strengthens the cultural and spiritual connections between the two nations.

Muhammad Bashar’s accomplishment in this prestigious competition not only honors his homeland but also emphasizes the shared values and strong ties between Pakistan and Algeria.
