Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 13 outlaws including three professional beggars from different areas of the city during the last 24 hours and recovered drugs and weapons from their
possession, a public relations officer said.
He said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Margalla police team arrested an accused namely Javed Masih and recovered 10 liters of liquor from his possession. The Tarnol police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Arif and recovered 1,210 gram heroin from his possession.
Likewise, the Shams Colony police team arrested an accused namely Habib Khan involved in selling diesel. The Noon police team arrested an accused namely Rizwan Ullah and recovered one 9mm pistol from his possession, while police team arrested an accused namely Akbar Khan
involved in illegally refilling gas cylinders.
Similarly, the Khanna police team arrested an accused namely Ali Hassan and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession.
The Kirpa police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Ahmed involved in illegally selling petrol.
