Police claimed on Friday to have arrested a youth allegedly involved in rape cum murder of his real younger brother.
The dead body of 8-year-old child was found on Friday in Kahna area. According to details, the tragic incident took place in Kahna area where elder brother Faizan raped and killed younger brother Arsalan. An initial post-mortem report revealed that the child had been abused. His real brother Faizan killed his younger brother by hitting him on the head with a bottle and a brick. Police have arrested Faizan, the accused who killed the child after raping her, while Faizan has confessed to killing his younger brother after raping him.
Police said that more facts will come to light after the Punjab Forensic report. After the postmortem, the body of the child was handed over to the heirs.
Speaking at a press conference at Qila Gujar Singh, DIG Investigation Sharq Jamal said that Faizan had killed Arsalan. The accused is also suspected of being involved in further such incidents. More revelations will come in a day or two. Accused Faizan killed the little ones on the trivial matter of complaining to the parents instead of showing compassion. On the other hand, the parents of accused Faizan questioned the police investigation and said that their son is said to have been arrested on suspicion. On the other hand, the increasing incidents of rape and murder in the area have spread panic among the people of the neighborhood. Residents have appealed to the Chief Minister to take notice.
