Woman ‘tortured to death’ by in-laws

A woman was allegedly ‘tortured to death’ by her in-laws here on Tuesday, police said. DPO Nowshera said that the incident took place Akbarpura locality of the district where an accused along with his sister brutally tortured his wife and set her on fire.

The woman was critically injured and rushed to hospital where she succumbed to her wounds during treatment.

Police said that the incident was outcome of domestic disputes and it after registering a case was investigation into the matter.—INP
