WhatsApp, Instagram Disruption in Pakistan
As users are facing hard time, exchanging messages online, the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) has yet to clear air on outages.
Amid the disruption, internet remains slow and people are waiting for telecom authority or provincial government to explain the slowdown. Last month, PTA blamed fault in submarine cables connecting Pakistan: the SMW4 and AAE-1 cables, saying repairs on the SMW-4 cable are projected to be finished by early October.
