PESHAWAR – Parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Peshawar received scattered rain, making weather pleasant by decreasing the temperatures.
Rain-wind/thunderstorms occurred in Peshawar and parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa during the last 24 hours.

Dera Ismail Khan remained the hottest place in the province where the maximum temperature reached 28 degrees Celsius. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 63 per cent.
In Peshawar, maximum temperature was recorded at 26 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 39 per cent.
As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave prevails over Pakistan’s upper parts.
Under the influence of these conditions, mainly partly cloudy and dry weather is expected in Peshawar and most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday night, Monday and Tuesday. However, rain winds/thunderstorms with snowfall over mountains are expected at isolated places in Chitral, Dir, Kohistan, Shangla and Balakot.
Peshawar’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 25-27 C on Monday and 26-28 C on Tuesday.
