KARACHI – The Meteorological Department on Saturday predicted that powerful monsoon winds were expected to enter Sindh from the night of July 28.
According to the department, from the evening of July 28 to July 30, rain with thunder and lightning is expected in various cities of Sindh including Tharparkar, Umerkot, Badin, Sajawal and other locations. The department also predicted that rain is expected in Karachi, Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad and other places from July 29 to 30, and the temperature in Karachi could rise on Sunday and Monday. It could reach between 34 to 36 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Karachi on Sunday is expected to be partly cloudy and humid, with a chance of drizzles and light rain in the evening or at night.
From Monday to Tuesday, there could be thunderstorms and heavy rain in some areas of Karachi.
The department also predicted that the city’s weather would be cloudy for the next 24 hours, with a chance of drizzle and rain due to the presence of clouds.
In the past 24 hours, the minimum temperature recorded in the city was 29.4 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature is expected to range between 33 to 35 degrees Celsius.
Besides it, the humidity level in the air is at 82%, and the sea breeze is blowing at a speed of 11 kilometers per hour.
