A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mehmood Aslam Wazir, Director General, Excise Department, on the ongoing work of vehicle smart cards, motor vehicle registration system MVRS and property tax (UIPT) digitization.
The meeting was briefed precisely by EVAM & Sanga technical staff over the progress made so far in the ongoing project. DG Mahmood Aslam Wazeer on the occasion issued instructions that Kyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise Department is committed towards digitization of the overall affairs of the department. He furthered that the concerned firm should expedite the ongoing work on vehicle Smart cards and complete the project as soon as possible. DG on the occasion, said that we the excise department is taking pragmatic steps towards digitization and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will get vehicle smart cards and universal number plates very soon.
