Vice Chancellor Women University Mardan (WUM) Prof. Dr. Ghazala Yasmeen Friday inaugurated the tree planting campaign at New Campus Women’s University Mardan by planting poplar tree.
On this occasion Deputy Commissioner Mardan Habibullah Arif and Divisional Forest Officer Shah Hussain also planted different varieties of plants in the area.
In her welcome address Dr. Ghazala said the Women University Mardan intended to plant about two to three thousand different types of plants inside its new campus this year.
“Planting will have a positive effect on reducing environmental pollution and climate change,” she said, adding that heads of our departments, faculty.
