Pakistan’s first digital legal platform ‘Vakeel Online’ hosted an event for contributing lawyers here at Faletti’s Hotel Lahore.
The event was attended by prominent lawyers including Saad Rasool, Mehrunisa Sajjad, Usama Malik and Munib Qadir.
The participants discussed the future of legal profession in the wake of the technological advancements that are revolutionizing the way legal infrastructure is dispensing justice.
The event celebrated the success of Pakistan’s first digital online platform and the vibrant community that has propelled its expansion reaching to 1.5 million users every month.
Speaking at the gathering, founder of VO Isfundiar Kasuri said that the technology doesn’t pose a threat but an opportunity.
‘Technology is the best way to free next-gen lawyers from the rigidity of the legal system of the country, to address the challenges identified by them, in building their careers.’ He said.
Vakeel Online is Pakistan’s first digital legal platform providing an online market place for litigants and lawyers to match up through a mobile application designed to ease access to justice.
