Usman Khawaja amplifies Human Rights message in response to ICC

PERTH- Australian Cricketer Usman Khawaja has opened up about the shoes carrying a message of human rights, saying that it is just an appeal  for the basic human rights and on humanitarian ground.

Taking to X, Usman Khawaja said that it is very unfortunate that the whole world has turned their back on poor Palestinians. He said all lives are equal and that is what he believes in.

He gave these remarks in response to the ICC’s message to the cricketer regarding the shoes carrying a message for human rights and right to life. He had written on his shoes that all lives are equal.

Usman Khawaja who is an amazing cricketer said that he would fight for the human rights, saying that he raised voice on the humanitarian ground.

Khawaja, a follower of the Muslim faith, expressed concern, stating, “Do individuals not express concern for the loss of innocent lives? Is it the hue of their skin that diminishes their significance? Or the faith they adhere to? Such considerations should hold no weight if one genuinely upholds the belief that ‘we are all equal,”.

The cricketer is determined to wear the shoes I the opening Test match against Pakistan in Perth tomorrow.
