US CG Robert Silberstein on Thursday morning called on Administrator Karachi Iftikhar Ali Shallwani at KMC Head Office and discussed issues of mutual interest and cooperation in various fields. US Consulate Economic Unit Chief Ms. Kristie Di Lasico was also present. The US Consul General said that the United States would cooperate with Karachi in the fields of education, health and infrastructure development. Welcoming the US Consul General and members of his delegation to the Karachi Metropolitan Municipality Headquarters, Administrator Karachi Iftikhar Ali Shallwani said that the United States is a friend of Pakistan and mutual cooperation between the two countries continues in many fields. He said two US cities have been declared the twin cities of Karachi (Sister City) which the citizens of Karachi consider very important and want to expand cooperation between the two countries in the fields of development.
