LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operations against illegal commercial use in Lahore.
On Wednesday, the LDA teams sealed 25 properties in the Civic Centre and different blocks of Gulshan-e-Ravi for not paying commercialization fees. The sealed premises include branches of American Lyceum, Unique, Kips, JPS School System, clinics and private offices.
Director Town Planning Zone-I Ayesha Mutahir supervised the operation which was carried out with the help of enforcement teams and Police.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
