UN should take notice of blasphemous sketches

Federal Parliamentary Secretary on Finance Makhdoomzada Zain Hussain Qureshi Tuesday stressed upon the United Nations (UN) to take notice of the blasphemous caricatures as over one billion Muslims across the globe were much con-cerned on the issue. Zain Qureshi strongly condemned the state-ment of French President Emmanuel Macron as it injure sentiments of the Muslim Ummah and said the French government should have played positive role in this regard.
He expressed these views during inaugura-tion of different uplift schemes at UCs Kary-alpur, Kakhaywala, Tataypur, Lothar, Multani-wala and some other areas of NA 157. He informed that Pakistan lodged its protest with French Ambassador in Islamabad. There is need to control over rising trend of Islamopho-bia, he noted. The entire Muslim World have concerns over the statement of the French Presi-dent, stated Zain.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the United Kingdom-based Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council (GPKSC) Raja Sikander Khan here Tuesday strongly condemned the hate speech of the French president against the Holy Prophet which severely hurt the religious feelings of the Muslim ummah across the globe.
Sikander, currently on official visit to Pakistan and AJK, said while talking to newsmen here said that the Government of Pakistan should call back its ambassador from France as a mark of immediate protest against the blasphemous remarks of the President of France – who seems to be a mentally sick person, he added. Raja Sikander Khan said “the entire Muslim Ummah across the globe should immediately boycott French products.
