School of Design and Textile at the University of Management and Technology (UMT) organized a two-day International Conference and Exhibition on Textiles and Clothing at the Expo Center.
Chairperson Punjab Higher Education Commission Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir attended the conference as a special guest. On this occasion, Rector UMT Dr. Asif Raza, DG UMT Professor Abid Sherwani, Dean School of Design and Textile Dr. Mumtaz Hasan Malik, Rector NTU Dr. Tanveer Hussain and a large number of UMT staff, faculty and students also participated.
With a formal ribbon-cutting, Chairperson Punjab Higher Education Commission, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, accompanied by Rector UMT Dr. Asif Raza, and DG UMT Prof. Abid Sherwani, visited all the stalls, where they praised the exceptional work of the talented students.
In the exhibition, there were 200 stalls where the BS final semester students showcased their impressive final theses, displaying works of fashion, textiles, graphics and interior design.
