UK Chief of General Staff all praise for COAS Asim Munir’s leadership, expertise

LONDON – United Kingdom’s Chief of General Staff General Sir Patrick Sanders commended the professionalism, expertise of Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir and armed forces officials.

British Army’s top officer was impressed by professionalism and versatility of Pakistan Army, as he mentioned it as one of most disciplined military organisations across the globe.

He shared his views at a luncheon hosted at the Army and Navy Club in London in honour of UK military officials who took training in Pakistan Army’s Command and Staff College.

A statement issued by Pakistan High Commission in London said General Sanders praised Pakistan military’s professional excellence, stating that there was no comparison. He emphasized Pakistan as the UK Army’s top priority for defense association and collaboration.

UK military chief however regretted that his upcoming visit to Pakistan would be his last in uniform, recalling his previous trips to Asian nation.

He further highlighted Islamabad’s strategic importance, situated between East and West. The event was attended by decorated British military officers, including Lieutenant General Sir Alistar Irwin, Lieutenant General Anthony Palmer, Brigadier Nick Thompson, Brigadier Tony Berry, and Major General Seumas Kerr, who praised the professionalism and versatility of the Pakistan Army.
